Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for purchasing from TripPDF. We take great care in creating our digital travel handbooks and itineraries to ensure they deliver real value for your travels. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Digital Products — No General Refunds
All Products sold by TripPDF are digital goods delivered electronically in PDF format. Due to the nature of digital products — which can be accessed and consumed instantly upon delivery — all sales are considered final.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:
- The Product is a digital download available immediately after payment
- Once the Product has been downloaded or access has been granted, the transaction is complete
- You waive any right of withdrawal or cooling-off period that may otherwise apply to the purchase of digital content
This policy is consistent with standard practices across digital content marketplaces including e-book publishers, digital guide platforms, and online content creators.
2. Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund
We stand behind the quality of our Products. Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in the following limited circumstances:
2.1 Defective or Corrupted Files
If the PDF file you received is corrupted, unreadable, or fails to open on standard PDF readers, we will first attempt to resolve the issue by re-sending the file. If the issue persists and cannot be resolved, you are eligible for a full refund.
2.2 Significantly Misrepresented Content
If the Product you received is substantially different from its description on the Site — for example, if a handbook advertised as covering "Bangkok, Thailand" instead covers an entirely different destination — you may request a refund. Minor differences in scope, phrasing, or styling do not qualify.
2.3 Duplicate Purchases
If you were accidentally charged twice for the same Product, we will refund the duplicate charge promptly.
3. Refund Request Process
To request a refund under the exceptions above:
- Email us at hello@trippdf.com within 7 days of your purchase date
- Include your order number or the email address used for the purchase
- Describe the issue in detail, including screenshots or error messages if applicable
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days
If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
4. What Does Not Qualify for a Refund
Refunds will not be issued for the following reasons:
- Change of mind or deciding not to travel to the destination
- Not reading the Product description before purchasing
- Travel information that has changed since the Product was published (prices, business closures, schedule changes, etc.)
- Subjective dissatisfaction with writing style, design, or depth of content
- Inability to open the file due to your device lacking a PDF reader
- Purchases made more than 7 days prior to the refund request
5. Cancellation of Orders
Since our Products are delivered digitally and instantly upon purchase, orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been processed. There is no pre-delivery window during which cancellation is possible.
If you experience a payment issue or accidental purchase, please contact us immediately at hello@trippdf.com and we will work to resolve it promptly.
6. EU & UK Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer based in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. However, by purchasing and immediately accessing digital content, you expressly consent to the performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been delivered.
This acknowledgment may be requested during the checkout process.
7. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank. We are happy to work with you to resolve issues quickly. Filing a chargeback for a valid purchase without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
